amara carries the sense of eternity.
In Sanskrit, amara carries the meaning of eternity: immortal, imperishable.

amara Memory is being built so the understanding stays where the memory lives. The timeline, search, language model and speech can run on the same local machine—even when the internet is unavailable. Your life should not have to become a cloud product before it can answer you.
The end goal is complete offline operation in normal use: extraction, storage, search, evidence retrieval, language model, speech recognition, speech output and interface all running locally. Internet access is optional for deliberate updates or chosen services—not required for remembering.

The current demonstration shows amara Memory in an inspectable form: a visual Life Map. It is a working technical preview for partners, builders and curious minds—not the interface we expect an elderly person to operate.
Care experience
The technology should disappear.
For everyday and care use, the intended experience needs only a local computer and a tablet. Speak naturally, see a familiar photograph, touch one large choice or simply listen. No keyboard. No mouse. No cloud account. No technical dashboard.
The tablet becomes the calm visual and touch surface. The local computer privately holds and understands the memory.

A screen is enough for many people. For others, the same private intelligence may one day have a gentle presence in the room—able to speak, show a photograph, share a familiar story and patiently help when memory fades. Optional, never required.
